One of the biggest ways a writer can get some inspiration is by reading other people's work. What a better time to do some reading and get inspiration during the summer? Below I have listed five books, each with different genres, that would be great for summer reading.




Court Of Winter by Krista Streer

Genre: Fantasy/Fairies

This would be a perfect book for not only fantasy lovers, but people who love to read about romance. Who is not a sucker for an enemies to lovers story? Since this is a series of four books, if you enjoy this book, you could potentially add three more books to your reading list.







The Object: Hard Science Fiction by Joshua T Calvert

Genre: Science Fiction/Space

Anyone that loves science fiction will definitely enjoy this for a read, especially if you love books about space. If you need to escape the summer and the heat, space is a great place to go!










Some Will Not Sleep by Adam L.G Nevill

Genre: Horror/Short Story

This is the book for you if you love short story books and if you are a horror fan. This book has eleven short stories that will be a fun short read if you are up for a little scare.
